This Grammy Award-winning ensemble possesses a stunning vocal prowess that captures the complex sounds of blues, spirituals, reggae and hip hop. Rooted in the rich textures of African American legacy and traditions, Sweet Honey In The Rock® was dubbed a “National Treasure” by First Lady Michelle Obama. The FirstWorks Festival concludes with their joyous celebration of life, love and song, featuring “Indaba”, a musical dialogue between youth and their elders, with the Junior Providence Singers.
