The 4th annual One Act Play Festival will feature 10 plays varying in content and genre. For anyone who feels they’ve been denied their fair share of theater lately, the Black Box Theatre’s upcoming 4th annual One Act Play Festival offers a dramatic smorgasbord designed to satisfy any appetite. The festival offers a glimpse into the works of nine diverse playwrights as they parade through the genres and subgenres of comedy and drama, with subject matter ranging from the stronghold of addiction to the joy of redemption, from an examination of loyalty to the silliness of false bravado. With playwrights hailing from Pawtucket to Pasadena, the geographical territory covered by the talent is as broad as the collective plot line.
