URI Feinstein Providence Campus & The International Gallery of Heritage & Culture present Mother Africa Concert with AS220 Criss Cross Orchestra Celebrating Black History Month.
Featuring African born musician Obuamah Laud and the AS220 Criss Cross Orchestra with the sounds of the many countries and cultures of Africa.
The Mother Africa exhibit and events explore Africa’s history and the dynamic influence it has on the world featuring the artwork of Munir Mohammed along with local professional and community artists. The exhibit runs January 24-Febraury 25, 2011.
