URI Feinstein Providence Campus & The International Gallery of Heritage & Culture present Mother Africa Dance Performance, slides and storysharing Celebrating Black History Month.
Human Creativity Dance Performance from Central Falls High School with Mali slides and commentary by teacher, dancer, and choreographer Deanna Camputaro, and story sharing URI study abroad students.
The Mother Africa exhibit and events explore Africa’s history and the dynamic influence it has on the world featuring the artwork of Munir Mohammed along with local professional and community artists. The exhibit runs January 24-Febraury 25, 2011.
