Intro to Improv: Examining the Harold with Casey Seymour Kim
May 16-June 27, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The Harold is a classic and highly accessible long-form that has become the signature format of countless professional improv troupes. A combination of short form games (such as those you see on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?") and scenes, it is perfect for improvisers who enjoy games and are beginning to work on longer narratives.
This class will begin by focusing on short scenework, and with building a repertoire of games. We will then transition to the Harold itself--as well as some of its many variations: the Armando, the Morris, the French Harold, etc.
All improv levels are welcome!
