Open your box of funny. Learn strategies and techniques of acting in a comedic scene or play. This class is formatted for actors of varying levels of experience through partnered scene work. Exciting contemporary plays and scenes suited to individual student needs will be rehearsed focusing on the nuts and bolts of comedy from text-analysis to developing on your feet verbal and physical timing. This class culminates in a showcase evening of your rehearsed work. Learn by doing. Rehearsal outside of class time is required. *There will be no class on July 4th.
