    On Saturday July 9th, 2011 from 10AM to 5PM at Burnside Park (2 Kennedy Plaza, Providence, RI) join the Affiliated Tribes of New England Indians for their 1st Annual First Light Powwow.

    The day will feature traditional Native American drumming, dancing and storytelling as well as authentic Native American crafts and foods.

    The MC for the powwow is Artie Red Medicine Crippen, Host Drum is the Eastern Medicine Singers and Invited ...Drum is the Eagle Sings Drum. All Drums are welcome. Grand Entry is at 12PM.

    This is a family oriented event. No Alcohol, Drugs or Pets are allowed.

    The First Light Powwow is sponsored by the Mount Hope Neighborhood Association, Inc, Seven Hills Behavioral Health and Dorm Room Entertainment and is officially a part of the Providence 375 Celebration.
